Arcade Fire till Sverige!

The first of the recently rumoured outdoor shows has been confirmed this morning:  Arcade Fire will play Dalhalla, near Rättvik, Sweden, on Wednesday June 30th!  Tickets are onsale now from arcadefire.com.

The venue is an old limestone quarry set in forest in south-central Sweden.  It's more commonly used for opera and theatre performances, and it looks amazing.  See dalhalla.se for more information.
 
Québec City Summer Festival confirmed

Arcade Fire will play the Québec City Summer Festival on Monday 12th July 2010.  They'll be playing the Bell Stage in the historic Plains of Abraham park.

11 day passes for the whole festival (all outdoor shows and some indoor) go on presale from local outlets on Wednesday 28th April at 8am local time, at a reduced price of 40$ CAD.  The general sale begins on Saturday 1st May at 10am local time, and tickets are available online and by phone  for 50$ CAD.

More summer dates

Two more festival shows have been confirmed for this summer.
Arcade Fire will headline Ottawa Bluesfest, Canada, on Tuesday 13th July, and the I-Day Festival in Bologna, Italy, on Thursday 2nd September.

Arcade Fire at Lollapalooza

It's been confirmed that Arcade Fire will play the Lollapalooza festival, Chicago, on Sunday 8th August.

3-day passes are on sale now, with day tickets expected to go on sale nearer the date of the festival.  See www.lollapalooza.com for further details.
